Commodity Manager
North of Philadelphia area

My client is the world leader in their industry for the last 40 years. The development of new products, through constant innovation, has resulted in an average annual growth rate of 20 percent since the company’s inception. They commit 10 percent of their annual sales revenue to research and development of new products. Their products are used through the United States and in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Identify components and sourcing for components based on low cost drivers.
- Mentor and develop the members of their team and work with off-site contractors to execute design.
- Purchase commodities from various regions.
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years experience in either embedded, RF, analog or power electronics design.
- 5+ years experience in purchasing or sourcing.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Bilingual is a big plus.
- Knowledge of purchasing commodities, suppliers in Mexico, South America and the Caribbean
- Purchasing, buying supplier identification, Mexican sourcing, Commodity knowledge with capacitors, resistors, transformers, etc.
