Operations Leader
North of Philadelphia area
Job Description:
We have an outstanding opportunity for an Operations Leader at our world headquarters in eastern Pennsylvania. In this fast paced environment, you will focus on achieving quality, delivery and cost goals. You will
drive process improvement projects in supply chain; customer service, materials management, manufacturing and
shipping. This highly visible position offers excellent growth potential and you will interface at all levels of our
organization. Responsibilities:
- Root cause analysis as well as corrective action at manufacturing and distribution centers.
- Drive process improvement projects for the Supply Chain organization to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Focus on inbound raw materials, supplier quality assurance and logistics.
- Develop new strategies for cost reduction, and efficiency improvement. (such as creation of new supply chain strategies, alternate distribution centers or manufacturing facilities).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
- 10 years experience in operations
management, materials, distribution or manufacturing within an electronics or electromechanical environment.
- Experience driving process improvement projects.
- Thorough understanding of quality; total quality management.
- Understanding of total cost of acquisition and cost drivers.
- An in depth understanding of electronics or electromechanical product manufacturing
- Experience contributing on a strategic level and the ability/desire to work tactically
- Experience with operations readiness for new product introduction and planning as well as excellent communication and organizational skills are also required
- Proven leadership skills and an ability and desire to be hands-on.
- Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
