Job Overview:
Our client has a growth opportunity for a Project Accountant focused on Cost Manufacturing who will be responsible for the accounting month end and year end closing of one or more production facilities / business units both Domestic and Internationally. You will provide analysis of expenses, balance sheet reconciliations and ad-hoc reporting / requests as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Processing, monitoring and analyzing facility expenses and control plans Journal entries, prepaid expenses and accruals.
- Account reconciliations for one or more facilities or functional departments
- Preparation of reports for business unit, legal entity and operational management.
- Coding of invoices, check requests and purchase orders.
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years experienced.
- CPA candidates preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Manufacturing or Business-to-Retail experience is required.
- JD Edwards or other Tier 1 ERP experience.
- Strong MS Office Skills - Advanced Excel & Access.
- International plant experience a plus.
- Highly organized, analytical and accustomed to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
