Summary:
We have an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Wallbox Business Unit. In this key management position, you will have complete responsibility for the division's financial statements. This includes understanding the revenue, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses of the division. The Senior Financial Analyst is a critical member of the planning committee and will be active in determining product and channel revenue and what spending levels are required to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Complete responsibility for the division's financial statement. This includes understanding the revue, costs of goods sold, and operating expenses of the division.
- Use data mining techniques across multiple financial reporting systems to deliver timely and accurate financial information to division business leaders, including the business areas of engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and personnel.
- Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost and revenue drivers.
- Define policies and procedures for all business unit finance reporting activities.
- As a capable change agent, not only perform the duties assigned but also define and optimize the processes necessary to achieve the desired results, contributing at the business unit and corporate level.
- Provide financial guidance on pricing, promotion, and customer contract negotiation.
- Provide guidance in the area of "costs of goods sold" to determine make/buy, plant of production, and capital investment decisions.
- Perform as a critical member of the business planning committee, providing essential information to ensure what sales revenue and spending is necessary to achieve results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Accountancy/Finance. MBA or MS preferred.
8+ years progressive experience in financial reporting and management, preferably in an engineering and consumer focused business.
Strong analytical skills.
Proven experience in driving process improvement.
Demonstrated leadership and history of driving change and making a difference.
Ability to lead, motivate and support business unit finance team as well as influence corporate accounting and finance.
Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with non-finance professionals.
