Electrical Engineer
Suburb of Philadelphia
Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design and support of electrical/electronic and electromechanical access control products.
- Support the Electronic Access Solutions product development efforts in the areas of electronic and electromechanical design.
- Develop electrical product specifications, quality and test specifications.
- Circuit design, PCB layout, testing and troubleshooting electrical and electro mechanical systems, prototype through production.
- Create and update electrical documentation: schematics, CAD data, customer documentation.
- Work with supply chain to support the procurement of electronic hardware and software development.
- Support mechanical engineers with electromechanical product design and development.
- Support manufacturing engineers, assembly personnel, vendors, and fabricators
- Provide engineering, tooling and piece part cost estimates.
- Regularly interface with internal and external customers regarding product specifications
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years relevant design experience with electrical/electronics and/or electromechanical products.
- Experience in analog and digital electronic design concepts, electronic component selection, circuit design and PCB layout.
- Demonstrated experience in electromechanical design and preferably electronic access control technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
